Energy Crossroads Denmark got a wonderful opportunity to visit a renewable energy ship “Maike” as a part of a renewable energy project “baltic sea.pure energy.”

The  Baltic Sea Pure Energy Project is initiated by the non-governmental organization imPuls and young people from environmental and youth organizations from the countries around the Baltic Sea. They visit Renewable Energy Projects in all nine countries around the Baltic Sea and collect “energy messages” from people living on the coast by camera. .

Moreover, they are travelling with a small sailing boat that relies on 100% green energy: The diesel engine have been replaced by an electric engine, which gets its electricity from the renewable on board: a wind turbine, solar panels and a hydro-generator.
